Find your way around the dashboard
Home and its review queue, the tabs and their sidebars, the menus in the top bar, and keyboard shortcuts.
Home
Home is the first tab, and the first row in its sidebar, above the conversation queue. It is the review queue: everything waiting on a person, one item at a time, decided on the page.
- The item in front shows its kind, the thing itself, where it came from, and the buttons that settle it.
- Deciding takes it off the queue and brings the next one forward. If the decision fails, the item comes back with the reason above it.
- Skip sends the item to the end of the queue until you leave the page. It shows only when something else is waiting.
- Other lists everything else waiting, in the order it comes up. Press a row to bring it to the front.
- With nothing waiting, Home reads All clear.
- Shortcuts, under the queue, lead to the settings pages you open most. See Shortcuts.
Conversations waiting on you are in the conversation queue under Home, not on the page. See Work the inbox.
Order
Oldest first within each kind, except approvals, which go soonest to expire first.
- Tool approvals
- Questions from the agent
- Urgent signals
- Fixes to confirm
- Knowledge suggestions
- Suggested tools
- Feedback posts waiting for approval
- Other open signals, highest priority first
- Things that need fixing
Items

|---|---|---|---|---|
| Needs approval | A tool call from the agent is waiting for a yes or no. Shows its arguments and how long it has before it expires | Everyone | Deny, Approve and run | Approve tool calls |
| Median AI has a question, named after your agent | The agent asked the team in a note and is still waiting. Shows the customer's last message | Everyone | Type an answer, then press Send, Cmd+Enter or Ctrl+Enter. The answer lands in the thread as a note, which wakes the agent. The customer never sees it | Work the inbox |
| Knowledge suggestion, or Knowledge update for an edit | The agent proposed a new document or an edit. Shows the whole text, and the document an update replaces | Admins and owners | Dismiss, Approve document or Approve update | Build your knowledge base |
| Suggested tool | A customer needed something the agent had no tool for | Admins and owners | Dismiss, Mark as built, Copy prompt | Set up your agent |
| Bug or Suggestion | A signal has the Open status. Shows the newest reports in the customers' words, and Urgent or High for those priorities | Everyone | Decline, Accept | Triage bugs and suggestions |
| Fix to confirm | A commit looks like it fixes a signal that is not done or declined | Everyone | Dismiss match, Confirm fix | Send signals to Linear or GitHub |
| Feedback post | A post on the feedback board is waiting for approval. A likely spam post says Held back as possible spam | Everyone | Delete, after a confirmation, or Approve | Feedback board |
| Needs fixing | One of the problems below | Everyone | A button to the page that fixes it |
Needs fixing shows one item per kind of problem. Problems with email, Slack, Discord or an issue tracker never show here.

Shortcuts
Four tiles for the settings pages you open most in this browser. Recent visits count for more than old ones, so the tiles follow your habits as they change. Until your visits fill all four, the rest are Behavior, Sources, Widget and Members.
| Tab | Pages that count |
|---|---|
| Agent | Profile, Behavior, Tools |
| Knowledge | Sources |
| Signal | Board settings, Integrations |
| Site | Overview, Customize, Domain, Sign-in |
| Channels | Widget, Email, Slack, Discord |
| Settings | General, Members, Billing, API |
A page your role cannot open, like Billing for a member, never gets a tile. Visits are kept in the browser, not your account, so another computer starts from the defaults.
Tabs
The tabs run across the top bar as outlined icons, and the one you are on is filled. Hover one to see its name. Each tab has its own sidebar.
| Tab | Sidebar | What it is for | Dot on the tab |
|---|---|---|---|

Related rows open a page in another tab that sets something this tab shows. An arrow marks them.
The All row under Signal counts open signals, up to 100.
